    Great tasting! Saintsbury is always a pretty darn good value. Sometimes it’s tough to find Pinot in this price category that really smokes it. I think it’s just the nature of the grape and how tedious the grape can be to take care of. Also Pinot has such low yields compared to what they crop with Cab, Zin, Ect…. Cheers~

    Thanks for the comment Thomas! I agree with you in regards to the Pinot price point. I enjoyed both of these wines, and comparing them side to side was interesting. In a perfect world, I would have had a few of the Saintsbury vineyard-specific Pinots as well, but have to watch the budget…! I think Carneros is an overlooked region when it comes to Pinot, and the proof here is in the bottle….
