    Neil,

This is my first time checking out your site, and I will continue to check back in with you to see what you’re tasting. I like your laid back approach to wine and food pairings, and appreciate that you’re tasting Soave and sharing your thoughts with us. Soave is still very much under the radar here in El Paso, TX, but my wife and I (who are the only certified sommeliers in the entire city) are trying to encourage the locals to branch out and try new things. We’ve enjoyed a couple of Soaves ourselves, and are looking forward to sharing with El Paso.
    Thank you. Cheers!

Hey Zak and Olena: Thanks for the kind words and for checking out the site! Soave is an amazing, affordable white wine option that works so well with food! Get the word out there in El Paso!! If you come across any Soaves (or any wine for that matter) that you’re excited about, let us know and we’ll check ‘em out too! Incidentally, I was recently in Austin but have yet to make it to El Paso…

    Cheers!! NM

Hi Neil – I work with the Soave Consortium and am so glad to see you’re a fan of the wines. I agree that they’re great with food, and the pasta with truffle butter sounds amazing – although Soave is equally good as a refreshing aperitif. The wines are also great for summer as they’re so fresh & mineral. Keep up the great reviews!
