No Wine For The Feline.

Those of you who thought it was okay to give your cat wine, PLEASE CEASE THIS HARMFUL BEHAVIOR IMMEDIATELY.

Okay, it’s a slow morning, my feet are freezing and I’m late for an appointment.  That said, this important piece of wine news came across the wire and I had to stop everything and make sure I distributed it quickly; it’s my responsibility as a wine blogger.

According to this blurb from Newsday.com, wine is not good for cats.  In Steve Dale’s article, Dr. Steve Hansen is quoted as saying:  “The primary reasons we don’t want pets drinking alcohol is that their bodies aren’t adjusted to it. And if they overindulge, they may lose balance and fall from a counter or down stairs.”
