If you’ve been following our webisodes, you’ve seen the three recently-posted B.R. Cohn videos featuring host Tim at the renowned Sonoma winery in 2007. We reconnected with the good folks at B.R. Cohn, and while we were delighted to present the webisodes to them and hear their positive feedback, we were saddened to hear that since our visit, winery mascot and Cohn family dog Moose had passed on.

Part bulldog, part lab, Moose was the consummate winery dog, known for greeting winery guests and freely roaming the property. During our brief visit, he befriended the crew and host Tim, took us on a tour of the vineyard, and finally settled down for a well-deserved nap between Tim’s feet in front of the tasting bar in the middle of one of our takes; (it was a pretty genius moment, and is included in the 3rd B.R. Cohn webisode).

Moose also had his own wine, ‘Moose’s Red’, a blend of Bordeaux grape varieties. A portion of the profits from each bottle of Moose’s Red sold was donated to animal charities Pets Lifeline and Guide Dogs for the Blind.

A belated farewell to you Moose; glass raised in your honor…
